Powered by nostalgia, Yuliya Gwilym’s work communicates the importance and magic of childhood. She combines collage, ink, crayons, and simple printmaking techniques to illustrate picture books and document the passing of time in personal narrative projects often based on observational drawings of daily life with young children.
